Basic unit (VTU Basic)
Features:
The VTU basic
is an entry level low-cost device
with many advanced features as expected from a member of the powerful
and versatile MX2i family. The MX2i basic is a perfect match for basic
applications not requiring all the features found in the full powered
version. Compared to the Pro the VTU basic has a reduced
feature set with less I/O's, a lower capacity battery and no 1-Wire
support. Finally the basic does not support the X32 enhanced
memory for extremely huge programs.
If you are looking for
an entry level tracking system... manufactured to the highest quality,
this is the one for you. The Basic will track your vehicle
offering locations to the nearest couple of meters. It uses the
very latest in 50 channel GPS receivers - this makes it effective even
in built up areas or covered areas where lesser receivers fall down.
It will allow
monitoring of two different conditions or sensors and will facilitate
the activation or deactivation of two switches that can be configured
to your own requirements. It operates between 8 and 30 volts
with a minimal drain on the battery and a 700 mAh battery can be
incorporated into the unit to combat the possibility of the thief
disconnecting the battery in the hope of overcoming your anti theft
measures.
The unit includes a
vibration sensor that can be adjusted (just as well if your is a Land
Rover)
The Cost of the unit
itself is currently £220.00 plus p&p. In addition to the
basic unit you would need to supply a GSM/GPRS antenna and those are
also available from us at a cost of £30.00 for a top quality discreet
combination antenna.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are also able to provide more
extensive units. On board cameras, new SUPERGPS available
through a massive 66 channel receiver provides the highest quality GPS
decoding available to the civilian market.
Some units incorporate up to 5 Digital
inputs for monitoring devices and 4 Digital Outputs (switches) along
with analog sensors for more precise machine adjustments.
Tell us what you want it to do... and
we'll find a way to do it.
